Boasting a 5+ meter high curved ceiling, stained glass windows and timber floors. The studio is a perfect place for couples. However, it can sleep up to four people with a queen bed and a double pull out sofa bed, all in the one open studio room, with adjoining private kitchen and bathroom facilities. Please note, this apartment in on the ground floor, however, there are three internal steps (with a handrail) leading to the private kitchen and bathroom.As we are all about a good nights sleep, all our queen beds have Australian made Slumberland Devon mattresses, combining ultra-comfort materials such as premium memory foam, wool and fibre blend cushioning, with an individually pocketed, spring coil system, underpinned by a solid Australian timber frame and base. This is an historically listing building dating back to 1913, it was built by volunteers with love and devotion and was originally a Baptist Church. Sleeping arrangement are a luxurious queen bed in a private bedroom, with a pull out sofa bed in the lounge room. This apartment is on the ground floor, no stairs to our within the apartment. It is a disabled compliant apartment. For your comfort there is ducted air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a fireplace stacked and ready to go on those cold winter nights. In the kitchen is a four burner gas cooktop, an oven, dish washer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, full sized fridge and pantry. Kitchenware, cooking ware, glass ware etc. are all provided. For your entertainment there is a large size television with Foxtel (including the Sports channel), Netflix and free to air TV. Relax on the north facing verandah which overlooks a park with mature trees. One off street parking space is available with this apartment, if more is required there is free street parking next to our complex on Beech Street.Room 2 - Ground Floor Queen Room The Ground Floor Queen Room has high raked ceilings, a private bathroom and a balcony overlooking the front garden and street. It has been designed with contemporary decor to provide a beautiful and comfortable place for a night away. The room is equipped with complimentary WIFI, streaming services on the Smart TV (Foxtel, including the Sports channel & Netflix), bar fridge, microwave, tea & coffee making facilities (including a Nespresso coffee machine) and a dining area. Read MoreThe Old Church Maleny offers accommodation on Maleny's main street, stay in either the historic Old Church boasting 5-metre-high curved ceilings and stained glass windows, or in the modern New Extension which includes two separate self contained Queen Rooms and two self contained one bedroom apartments. All have smart TV's, complimentary WiFi, Foxtel (including the sports channel) and Netflix are available throughout the property.
All rooms and apartments have private bathrooms, outdoor seating areas, fans and reverse cycle air conditioning. Our Ground Floor Deluxe Apartment also has a fireplace. Our three apartments have full kitchens with full sized fridges, hot plates, oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, plates, glasses, cooking utensils etc..., and our two queen rooms have small kitchenettes with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, plates, glasses and cutlery.

It is short stroll to a couple of small waterfalls and a swimming hole, lined with rainforest along the Obi. At the carpark the walk follows the Obi Obi Creek downstream along a concreted path to the Gardener's Falls.There are toilet and picnic areas. Gardner's Falls gets very busy on the weekends in summer.
